In the lovely rambling old town of Katoomba in the Blue Mountains National Park you will find blue M food co. When Jeanette Grice and Tony McQuillan moved to the mountains from Sydney the business was born from a passion for quality and in particular, very flavoursome foods.
It began with 15 jars of Lemon Butter and a few other preserves at a market in Wentworth Falls. Given a large bag of lemons from a neighbour’s tree, an old family recipe was dusted off and put to use. From there we followed with our Passion Butter (which was eventually exported to the UK), Roasted Tomato & Apple Chutney and chilli sauces.
Living in the Blue Mountains it is hard not to be in awe of the quality of the food grown and produced in the food bowls of the Central West, the Hawkesbury, farms along the Northern Road, and here in the Mountains.
We take immense pride in our work and hope you too will enjoy the fruits of our labour.
